Warren Yazoo Behavioral Health, Inc. is certified by the State of Mississippi Department of Mental Health and receives oversight and audits from additional State agencies including the Division of Medicaid, and the Mississippi Department of Transportation. Substance abuse services are also provided to Mississippi residents through contracts with the Mississippi Department of Vocational Rehabilitation, the Ninth Judicial Court District, and the United States District Court Southern District of Mississippi.
Warren Yazoo Behavioral Health is a member of the National Council for Community Behavioral Healthcare, the oldest and largest trade association representing the nation's providers of mental health, substance abuse and developmental disabilities.
Warren Yazoo Behavioral Health is also a member of the National Rural Health Association. The National Association for Rural Mental Health (NARMH) was founded in 1977 in order to develop and enhance rural mental health and substance abuse services and to support mental health providers in rural areas.
Warren Yazoo Behavioral Health is a United Way agency and receives funding through the United Way of West Central MS. The agency has also received local funding from International Paper Company.
